Mrs. Rouse

My name is Katie Rouse. I am an Ashland native! Go Eagles!!   I graduated from Southern Boone High School. Then attended Columbia College, where I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Teaching. I am currently working towards another master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education at Mizzou! This is my fourth year here at Southern Boone Schools!  Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my two daughters, Halle and Haven. Along with my husband, Caleb, we love to be outside and spend time with family!

Mrs. Ford

My name is Michelle Ford and this is my 3rd year as the elementary Speech/Language Pathologist at Southern Boone.  I live in Jefferson City, MO.  I worked in Russellville school district for 16 years prior to taking this position.  I graduated from Southwest Baptist University with my bachelors in Communications in 1990 and my masters in Speech Pathology from Central Missouri State University in 1992.  Prior to working in a school setting, I worked in hospitals, nursing homes, and home health providing therapy services to adults for 10 years.  My husband, Jason and I have been married 29 years.  We have 2 adult children, Andrew, who lives in Kansas City, MO and Katie, who lives in Stockton, CA with her husband Steven.  We have a dog named Sabrina and a cat named Slick which are our current “babies”.  I enjoy oil painting, cycling, walking, hiking, and reading a good book.  I am excited to start year 3 at Southern Boone.  Go Eagles!!!   It is going to be an awesome year!!!

Miss Summers

My name is Sydney Summers and this will be my second year as a Special Education teacher. I graduated from the University of Missouri in 2020 with a bachelors in K-12 Cross-Categorical Special Education. I have since started a Masters Program in Curriculum and Instruction.  I completed my student teaching in Southern Boone and instantly knew I would eventually find myself back in the area. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work at Southern Boone and watch the growth within the school district!

Mrs. Adamson

My name is Caylee Adamson,  this will be my 4th year at Southern Boone and I am beginning my second year as a Special Education Teacher. I graduated from Columbia College with my bachelors. I will graduate from Columbia College in December 2021 with my Masters in Arts of Teaching. I recently got married in August of 2021 to my husband, Ben. We enjoy traveling, being outside, and spending time with our families and friends.
