Online Registration For Current Students

Southern Boone School District's annual online registration and meal benefit application are both now available in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal.  New families to the district will need to contact their child's school office to start the student registration process.

Once you log into your parent portal, there will be a pop-up message: Action Required! Online Registration is required for all students each year, allowing you to update contact information and to complete forms that are required on an annual basis.  Once you click OK, please follow the prompts to the registration portal. Your online registration is not complete until you click on the red submit button on the final page of the registration. Please contact Missy Kirmse at mkirmse@sbschools.us if you need to add a new student to your parent portal account before beginning the annual online registration.

It is highly recommended you complete online registration using a desktop/laptop instead of the portal app on your phone or tablet.  Many of the forms may not open in the app and will freeze your registration.  If you need assistance in completing the online registration or need to utilize a district computer, please contact Missry Kirmse to schedule a time to meet at central office.

If you need a password reset, username reminder or need to create your parent portal account, please contact Missy Kirmse. For security reasons, password reset and activation keys will need to be sent through email and will not be provided by phone. Also, your email address must match the email we have on file.

If you have any questions or need help, please contact Missy Kirmse at mkirmse@sbschools.us or call 573-657-2147.

Free and Reduced Meal Application

With the new school year starting soon, the Southern Boone School District is encouraging families to fill out the free or reduced meal application.

Parents are asked to fill out the Free and Reduced Meal Application for the 2024-2025 school year. The school district is encouraging all families to fill out an application. Even if you think your family won’t qualify, your application can help the school district in many different areas including federal funding and qualifying for grants. Completing an application is the only way to be considered for free or reduced meals.

You can fill out the application online or download and print off a paper copy of the application. A link to fill out an online application is available in the parent portal account in Infinite Campus, by clicking the "More" tab on the menu on the main page. You can turn in the completed form to your child’s school office or central office.

If you have any questions regarding free or reduced meals or need assistance with filling out an application, please call central office at 573-657-2147.

For parents/guardians with students in the district, it is important that you have a current email address and cell phone number in your student information system parent portal. Please check to make sure your contact information is up-to-date in your account so you are receiving all school-related communication from the district, building principals and your child’s teachers.

Important emails from the school district will be sent from the communications@ashland.k12.mo.us email address, text messages will be sent from the phone number, 98900 and you will receive automated phone calls from the phone number, 573-657-2147.

The primary method of communication the district and school buildings use is email. The district and school buildings will also send text messages to parents/guardians about important reminders, time-sensitive updates and any other urgent matters. The district will only use automated phone calls for weather-related closing information and other urgent matters.

Other forms of communication the school district utilizes include the district’s website, www.sbschools.us, Southern Boone School District App, Eagle Express E-Newsletter and the district’s social media accounts.

If you have any questions about the school district’s communications, please call central office at 573-657-2147 or email communications@sbschools.us.
