Thank you to everyone who joined us at last night's Southern Boone Golden Eagles Club Community Tailgate! We had a fantastic evening with community members, great food and entertainment provided by the Southern Boone High School Marching Band and Cheerleaders. Activities Director Trent Tracy gave an update on the fall activities and Superintendent Dr. Tim Roth shared a variety of information about the school district. It was wonderful to connect, share updates and celebrate the community that supports our schools. We look forward to seeing everyone again in the spring!

🚧 CONSTRUCTION ALERT🚧: The entrance/exit to the high school commons parking lot will be closed on Wednesday, October 23rd, from 8:15 AM to 1:30 PM as construction crews install a new water main in that area. The commons parking lot will still be open for use, but drivers will need to use an alternative entrance and exit during this time period. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Your commitment to keeping our children safe in today’s digital world means so much to us. A special thank you to Detective Andy Evans from the Boone County Sheriff's Office Cyber Crimes Division for sharing his expertise and providing valuable information to our community. We’re grateful for this important partnership and look forward to continuing these efforts to keep our kids safe online. Detective Evans shared some helpful resources for families from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. We encourage you to explore these materials to learn more about the topics discussed during the meeting. Check them out here: www.missingkids.org/theissues. The Southern Boone School District and the Boone County Sheriff's Office hope to make this an annual event, offering ongoing opportunities for parents to learn about online safety in our ever-changing digital world.
