Southern Boone High School Junior Varsity Scholar Bowl Team was recognized during this week's school board meeting for earning 2nd place in the small schools division of the MACA JV State Tournament. Members of Southern Boone's Future Business Leaders of America participated this week in the State FBLA Competition in Springfield. The Entrepreneurship team consisting of Alex Rice, Benton Struchtemeyer and Ryker Zimmerman earned 1st place and will be advancing to FBLA Nationals in Orlando, Florida at the end of June. Benton Struchtemeyer also finished 2nd place in the Securities and Investment objective test. Congratulations!
