The Southern Boone High School Senior Baccalaureate is Sunday, May 12th at 2:00 pm in the high school auditorium. All seniors are welcome to attend. Please contact Mrs. Teresa Shaffer if you have any questions.
Yesterday, high school students in Epsilon Beta enjoyed a field trip to Columbia to tour behind the scenes at Daniel Boone Regional Library, Skylark Book Shop, and the State Historical Society of Missouri. They were gifted free ARC copies of books from Skylark, got goodies and library cards from the library, and toured not only the archives but also the Ginger Rogers exhibit at the State Historical Society. It was a great day!

Friday, April 19th is National Poetry Day! Join in the fun in the library with a special after school event to listen to The Tortured Poets Department and make friendship bracelets after school until 4:30pm in the HS library. This is a free event!
Join the high school pop choir for Sabotage Karaoke on April 19th from 6:00-7:30 pm in the high school auditorium. There also will be a special performance by the pop choir!
Members of Southern Boone's Future Business Leaders of America participated this week in the State FBLA Competition in Springfield. The Entrepreneurship team consisting of Alex Rice, Benton Struchtemeyer and Ryker Zimmerman earned 1st place and will be advancing to FBLA Nationals in Orlando, Florida at the end of June. Benton Struchtemeyer also finished 2nd place in the Securities and Investment objective test. Congratulations!
