Southern Boone High School Graduation will be on Sunday, May 21st, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. and will be held on the baseball/softball field.

High school students interested in Student Council, an informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 9th at 7:30 in the HS library. This is REQUIRED for any student wanting to run! Incoming freshmen are not included in spring elections. See Mrs. Duckett for more info.
Students in Mrs. Golightly's biology classes gained hands-on experience by modeling natural selection through the feeding patterns of birds. Through the "Battle of the Beaks" lab, students learned about possible reasons why natural selection occurs by trying to pick up a variety of "food" with different types of "beaks."
Congratulations to Southern Boone High School Senior Elizabeth Hess on receiving the Missouri Scholars 100 Award. She was honored during a ceremony last weekend in Columbia that recognized the top 100 seniors in the graduating class of 2023 in the state of Missouri.
Congratulations to the Southern Boone High School Quiz Bowl team on competing in the Small Schools National Championship Tournament over the weekend in Chicago.
