The PTA is looking for students to showcase their talent in an upcoming district-wide talent show! Talents may include but aren't limited to singing, dancing, instrumental music, skits, magic, comedy, martial arts, and juggling; a SoBoCo student or staff member MUST be part of the talent show. Students in Mrs. Golightly's chemistry classes finished their Black Excellence in STEM project on Friday where they made a periodic table of scientists from different science, technology engineering, and math fields! They are learning about periodic trends and this was a great way to not only get hands-on learning by building their own periodic table but allowed students to research science throughout history and the contributions made to it by Black scientists.
