This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. This is a special time to honor the individuals who lend their passion and skills to educating our children. Southern Boone High School's 2022 Prom was last night at Timber Ridge Barn outside of Jefferson City. Anderson Pipes was crowned Prom Queen and Lee Gentges was crowned Prom King. Congratulations!

Our multimedia class would like to assemble a slide show to honor our 2022 graduating seniors. The deadline for sending in pictures is Friday, May 6. If you are interested in placing a senior ad in the yearbook, the deadline for this is also Friday, May 6.

Congratulations to Mariah Prince and Jersee Wren who both signed today with William Woods! Mariah will be playing softball and basketball and Jersee will be playing basketball. So proud of these two incredible Eagles!

Southern Boone Girls Soccer is having its Pink Out Game on Wednesday, May 11th against Hannibal. Pink Out Shirts will be $15 each and $17 for sizes 2XL and up. You will get free admission if you wear the shirt to the game. Order deadline is this Monday, April 25th. The Southern Boone School Board of Education met on Monday night, and approved changes to the 2021-2022 school district calendar. These changes to the calendar are due to the school district taking a snow day on Friday, March 11th. READ MORE HERE: https://bit.ly/3Exgfxl

8th grade students went to the high school this morning for their High School Enrollment Orientation. Current juniors led tour groups, helped them fill out their ICAP, and answered questions. The high school counselors will visit the middle school next week to finalize their enrollment for next school year.

FBLA State Leadership Convention came to a close today in Springfield. Southern Boone had five students compete and two students advancing to to the FBLA National Convention in Chicago, June 29th-July 2nd.
