Our 5th grade team does an activity every year where they read The Keeping Quilt by Patricia Polacco. It's a story about family, traditions, and the ways those traditions are passed down from generation to generation. Students design their own quilt patch that has their family's traditions, values, and experiences . By putting all of their individual patches together, they create their own 5th grade quilt. What a great way to start the year!

Ms. Wilson’s 7th and 8th grade Agriculture classes have been busy building new skills!
🛠️ 8th grade students are learning how to safely use power tools in the wood shop as they prepare to begin their first woodworking project in the coming weeks.
🐝 7th grade students are learning about pests and pollinators found in flowerbeds and gardens. Each student selected a pest or pollinator to research and will soon develop a plan to either deter their pest or attract their pollinator.
