Members of the 8th Grade Jr. Beta Club kicked off Thanksgiving Break today by giving back to the community! The students volunteered at The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri in Columbia, helping support families across the region.

Congratulations to students from Mrs. Batye's 5th grade ELA class that entered into the Young Writers' Spook Squad Contest in October, and their entries have been chosen for publishing. The contest looks for entries that include perceptions, imagination, and creativity as well as expression, originality, and use of language. Way to go!

Our 7th and 8th grade girls teams were home this afternoon to host the California Lady Pintos, while our 7th and 8th grade boys teams hit the road to California to take on the Pintos.
A highlight of the day—all Southern Boone Middle School students got to enjoy a game and cheer on our Lady Eagles! The energy in the gym was awesome, and our students brought the spirit! 🦅❤️🖤
