During Monday evening's Southern Boone School Board of Education meeting, Opaa! Director of Nutrition Services, Faith Calvin was recognized for receiving 3rd place with her Philly Mac & Cheese at Opaa's company-wide recipe contest in Oklahoma.

Earlier this week, Mrs. Thornhill's high school environmental science class went on a guided trip with Missouri River Relief to explore the different parts of the river. The students learned about the history, ecology and management of the Missouri River.


Congratulations to Dr. Alexis Miller for receiving the Moberly Area Community College's Adjunct Instructor Excellence in Teacher Award for the 2021-2022 school year. This award is for Dr. Miller teaching Dual Credit American History at the high school for the last two years.
