Today, students in Mrs. Thompson’s and Mrs. Contrades’ 5th Grade Social Studies classes took part in a hands-on learning experience by participating in a mock election! After a week of learning all about the election process, these young voters put their knowledge to the test by showing up at the “polls” today. 🗳️🇺🇸
Engaging in activities like this helps our students understand the importance of civic participation and builds lifelong skills.

5th Grade ELA students celebrated finishing their narratives by participating in a gallery walk! Students were able to read each other’s stories and write compliment cards. What a great way to wrap up their narrative unit!
Our trunk or treat is coming up soon and we wanted to share the guidelines for Halloween costumes. We are excited to see some creative costumes!
Our 8th grade Beta Club enjoyed visiting with kindergarteners this morning to do some reading. Thanks for Mrs. Long and Ms. Lambiotte, Beta Club sponsors, for setting this up!
